Abigail is delighted to spend her summer hanging out with elegant, imaginative, up-for-anything Maggie! But, to Abigail’s disappointment, Maggie isn’t allowed to come to Bible Club. In fact, it turns out that talking about Jesus is banned in Maggie’s house. So how can Abigail share Jesus’ love with Maggie in other ways?

It’s going to be the best Christmas ever. Abigail’s cousin is visiting, plus there’s snow, presents, and a new puppy to play with. Best of all, Abigail has a plan for an amazing Christmas contest, which she aims to win! But when the cousins come together, it isn’t long before jealousy threatens to steal Abigail’s joy. Join the Christmas chaos as 9-year-old Abigail learns that the joy that Jesus brings is the kind of joy that can never be taken away, and see the good news of the Nativity story come alive in her life!

9-year-old Abigail can’t sing, and she can’t dance. So when her friends start rehearsing a musical performance, Abigail feels very much left out and self-conscious. Isn’t she good at anything? Doesn’t anybody want to be her friend? Jesus does! When Abigail reads Psalm 139, she realises that Jesus made her wonderfully, just the way she is, so she doesn’t need to worry about not being good at musical things. And when she encounters John 15, Abigail learns that Jesus loves her perfectly and empowers her to be a loving friend, even when others let her down.

It’s nearly Career Day, and 9-year-old Abigail is trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. She wants to do something that will please God and her family, so she decides she will be a missionary police officer—a job that she thinks means behaving perfectly and making sure everyone else does too! But all her efforts seem to backfire. After some helpful Bible teaching from her loved ones about the story of Paul’s conversion, Abigail rethinks what it means to please God and to “be good”!

Like many kids, adventurous and creative 9-year-old Abigail experiences lots of ups and downs when it comes to school life, making friends, and getting along with parents and siblings. Through both the humorous and serious challenges that arise, Abigail finds herself in one new mess after another. But as she learns all about how Jesus forgave Peter when he messed up again and again, she sees how Jesus can forgive her too.
