Sailor Sam and his crew travel to Europe to deliver a space research monkey named Spook, eventually outmaneuvering a pair of master thieves in a high-stakes chase across the French and Swiss borders.

While transiting the Panama Canal, Sailor Sam recruits August Schmidt, a retired carpenter who finds a new sense of purpose serving the Lord in the South Pacific. The crew arrives at an uncharted island to assist missionary Ruth West, but the mission is jeopardized when the Porpoise strikes an underwater volcanic crater. While visiting a scientist friend, Sailor Sam and his cousins stumble upon a mysterious cave used by counterfeiters, leading to a dangerous trap and a life-changing decision for a young boy.
